The NFL Standings for Week 1 of the season has a number of teams in surprising division leads after tough wins and losses around the league, with the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, NY Jets, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans and Denver Broncos all winners for opening weekend.

The Atlanta Falcons won over the New Orleans Saints to take an early lead in the NFC South and that was in the most exciting game of the weekend. The team won in overtime over the Saints after a late turnover and now they are looking like they have the chance to bounce back after having a very tough season in 2013. The Minnesota Vikings won over the St. Louis Rams to take the lead in the NFC North and they were dominant on Sunday and didn't allow the Rams to score until the second half.

The Bengals won over the Ravens for a lead in the AFC North, while the Eagles won big over the Jaguars after falling behind early in the game. The Jets won and so did everyone else in the AFC East, while the Patriots fell to the Miami Dolphins to stay in the bottom of the standings for at least a week. The Bills won over the Bears in overtime, while the Redskins are currently on a nine game losing streak dating to last season after getting beaten bad by the Houston Texans.
