New Japan national football team coach Javier Aguirre answers questions during a news conference in Tokyo on August 28, 2014. Aguirre announced his squad for his first games in charge of the Blue Samurai, friendlies against Uruguay and Venezuela next month. "

Uruguay and Japan are playing live for an international friendly on Friday from at the Sapporo Dome in Toyohira-ku and the game is live from ESPN and WatchESPN online at 6:25 am ET as the Blue Samurai and Los Charruas play after the World Cup in Brazil and Luis Suarez will be missing in action while continuing his ban from playing after his biting incident.

Uruguay started off well at the World Cup, but overall they did not have a great run and now they are behind with Suarez out, but he will be able to return eventually. Suarez was the top player in England last season and he ended up moving from Liverpool to Barcelona over the summer and now he is serving a suspension for his biting incident in Brazil and he will be out for a while and should make his debut in October.

Uruguay hasn't lost in their last five friendly matches and they won over France and Japan, while the host nation won over Costa Rica and Belgium and they likely will be the underdogs here. Javier Aguirre takes over for Japan and he comes in after the team had the coach resign following the World Cup, which saw the team have a dismal performance. The team earned only one point in their three group games and now they are starting a new era heading into the next tournament.
