The Detroit Lions have one of the best offenses in the NFL with Matthew Stafford and this season, players like Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush, Joique Bell, Eric Ebron and Golden Tate are solid fantasy football draft targets over names like Brandon Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria, as those players should put up some of the best numbers on the team and could be very valuable in PPR FF leagues in 2014.

The Lions have the chance to be one of the best offensive teams in the league and after having a bit of a letdown last year, the team is ready to bounce back. Matthew Stafford has the potential to be like Drew Brees on that home turf and adding Eric Ebron and Golden Tate to the offense should only make it easier for Calvin Johnson to dominate. Johnson is one of the top players in all of fantasy and if Stafford stays healthy through this season, he could be the number one player at his position and in the entire league.

The Lions are a strong team to watch in PPR leagues, as they pass as much as anyone in the league and players like Bush and Bell could have strong seasons out of the backfield as receivers. Bush and Bell have the potential to be starters in fantasy leagues this season and in PPR leagues they should have tons of value, as Bell has been the third down back over the past couple years and has performed well in that role. Bush has been a solid rusher as well and he is coming in after his second 1000 yard season in three years and lets be honest, it's three, he rushed for 986 yards in Miami.

Bush is another strong PPR option and he comes in after having 54 catches for 506 yards last season to go with 1006 yards. Bell should be a solid number two and a good handcuff option, as he had 650 yards on the ground last season and also added 53 catches for 547 yards. That was the second straight year of him going for 50 plus catches and 480 plus yards and that is a good sign for what he could do this season.

The tight end position is one to watch this year with the Lions, as they have Brandon Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria, aka the big man, but with Ebron coming in, expect those two to have their numbers decrease in the 2014 season. Pettigrew has been solid for his career with the Lions and he has missed just four games in the past two seasons, but Ebron is so athletic and so good, chances are he will eat into the 41 catches he had last season. Ebron comes in after making 62 catches for 973 yards last year and he could be in line for more.

Stafford is the leader on offense and he had 4650 yards and 29 touchdowns last season and while that wasn't the year he had a couple years ago, he has the chance to be great again. Johnson had 84 catches for 1492 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and he could be the top player on the team again.
