Team USA Basketball is battling with West Point for a practice game and workout heading into the FIBA Basketball World Cup and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN2 at Christl Arena and streaming from WatchESPN and the matchup starts at 2 pm ET with players like Derrick Rose and Anthony Davis leading the way.
The Practice and game will be live from Christl Arena and it comes after USA coach Mike Krzyzewski used to coach and attend the school. The roster is still getting ready for the Cup and the cut down to the 12 will be by next week and now names like Rose, James Harden and Davis will be leading the way after Paul George was injured and Kevin Durant dropped out.
Rose is coming back after an injury and he has looked good and he is one of the key players for the team. Rose played in just 10 games last season and he scored seven points while playing 24 minutes in the first game against Brazil as a warm up for the team. Team USA is looking to get things going ahead of the start of the tournament and whole George was injured, the team feels that it has enough to keep things going.
