The Yankees are out of the division race and they need a miracle to catch the Orioles, while the Blue Jays are fading as well after losing to the Mariners in two games. The Jays can get swept out on Wednesday and they face Hisashi Iwakuma and now the Yankees need to make up some ground after losing a game to rain on Tuesday and now they have a couple games to go to get back into the chase. The Yankees have dealt with tons of injuries and that is why the return of Michael Pineda is such a welcome sign.

Pineda is back after a long layoff and he can be a massive difference for the Yankees and he could be like acquiring a pitcher at the deadline. The Orioles are without Manny Machado after he injured his knee and shortstop JJ Hardy will also be out. The teams will need to make up the last game and now the Yankees are looking to bounce back.
