Sporting Kansas City vs. Philadelphia Union Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming MLS Game

Sporting Kansas City and Philadelphia Union are playing live on the Major League Soccer schedule on Friday night and the MLS game is live on the NBC Sports Network and has a live stream online from the NBCSN Live Extra website at 8 pm ET from Sporting Park in Kansas and this matchup has the best team in the MLS in KC and they are leading the east and looking to pad that this week.

Sporting comes into the game after winning for the fifth straight time on the road and they got a win against Toronto and now they are in first place and remain there in the east heading into the weekend schedule. The team has now won four games in a row overall and they are starting to get hot as the team pushes into the back stretch of the second half of the season. The Union have been playing well as of late and they now have been undefeated in the past three games, pulling a draw with the Fire on the road in Chicago for their last MLS match.

These two teams have played each other already this season and now this will be the second time that they are matching up and the last one was a win for the Union in May and that was on the road in KC and was an impressive win. Philly has won just that one match against KC at PPL Park in the past and they now are looking to get another one here, while Sporting won the two times the team travelled to Philly last season.

The Union took an early lead in their last MLS game against Sporting after Danny Cruz scored early and after Sporting drew even, Philly was able to come back for the win. Sporting comes into the matchup and is playing very well at this time, as they have been undefeated over this stretch and now they have 38 points in 21 games this season and look to add more. Philly comes in with 23 points in 21 games and they are in a tie for sixth as they try and move into playoff position after their draw at Toyota Park against the Fire.

Kansas City and the Seattle Sounders have been the best teams in the east and west this season and a matchup in the MLS Cup between the two would be massive. Sporting is leading the east over DC and now United is close by just one point back and they lead the Revolution, Toronto and the Crew by a wide margin.

The Sounders are tops out west with Real Salt Lake behind and the team also has a nice lead over LA and the Colorado Rapids as well as Dallas. The playoff standings are close near the middle where the fifth teams are and it should be a nice battle as the season moves along and right now Sporting and Seattle have the Supporters Shield lead.
