The Green Bay Packers should once again have a high scoring offense and names like Randall Cobb, Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson and Eddie Lacy should put up good numbers this year and they should be the main fantasy football draft targets from the Pack for owners this season.

The Green Bay Packers are coming into the 2014 season with high expectations and the team is planning on using Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson extensively in the offense with Aaron Rodgers and those two players are the top fantasy football options for owners on this team and it comes after Nelson was signed to a new contract extension and at some point in the future Cobb could be next.

The Packers are coming into the season after just making the playoffs and going 8-7-1 and they had to deal with Aaron Rodgers being injured during the season and they are hoping he can make it through healthy. According to ESPN.com, the Packers gave Nelson a new contract extension for four years and $39 million and now the team has him in for a number of years and Cobb could be next in line to get one in the future, although he said he hasn't done enough yet. Cobb has been an electric player for the Packers since he returned that kick in his first game and now he has established himself as a game changer for Green Bay.

Cobb is coming off of a season when he missed time with a serious injury, getting knocked out in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens and he was able to return for Week 17 of the season for the Packers. Last year Cobb had 31 catches for 433 yards and four touchdowns and is just 23 years old and he has shown that he is as valuable in the passing game as he is on special teams. Two years ago Cobb had an amazing season with 80 catches for 954 yards and eight touchdowns and it looked like he was on track to have another season like that before getting injured.

According to ESPN.com, Cobb was on pace to make over 90 catches for 1,200 yards when he was injured and he ended up fracturing his leg after a questionable hit in Week 6 from Matt Elam. Cobb came back and helped the team win over the Bears with a 50-yard TD in the final seconds against Chicago and that gave the team the division title, but they did not make it through the postseason this time around. The Packers got a great season from Eddie Lacy as a rookie and they are expecting him to continue developing this year.

The team ranked sixth in the league in passing yards and seventh in rushing yards per game last season and Mike McCarthy is looking to keep that in line this year. The Packers defense was up and down all last season and ranked 24th in passing yards allowed per game and 25th in rushing yards per game and they are focusing on that this offseason. The Packers have a tough division, but they should be right in the swing of things with the Bears and the Lions, while the Vikings are looking like the low team.
