World Cup Results: Brazil Loses 3-0 To Netherlands In Third Place Game

The nightmare continued for Brazil, as they lost 3-0 to the Netherlands in the third place game on Saturday after falling 7-1 against Germany in the semifinals and now the team has to deal with losing both of their final two games and now the 2014 World Cup will be a sad memory for most of the people in Brazil.

Things started off rough with a yellow card to Thiago Silva early and that led to a Robin Van Persie goal and the team continued with one from Daley Blind and then the team added another in extra time. Brazil now finishes in fourth place after being the favorite coming into the tournament and Neymar's injury clearly had a huge impact.

The World Cup is live online from Univision for the third place game on Sunday and the match comes from the Estádio Nacional in Brasilia as the Dutch and host nation face off at 4 pm ET and the match gives Brazil a chance to make up for their bad loss against Germany, who will take on Argentina in the final on Sunday and that match will be on ABC.

Brazil remains without Neymar after his injury in the win against Colombia and now they have to bounce back after allowing Germany to score seven goals. It would be a nightmare to lose this game and the top three finish for the host nation and Argentina wins it all, as the two nations are rivals and many dreamed of Brazil matching up and beating Argentina in the World Cup final.
