The World Cup 2014 tournament was massive for the US National Soccer team and after the team was eliminated from the Brazil tourney, leaders Tim Howard and Clint Dempsey received a phone call from President Barack Obama and he gave his words of support and congratulated them on their performance.
From the video: "To see the way you guys captured the hearts and imaginations of the whole country is unbelievable. Obviously the sport has been growing steadily because kids have been playing it at a young age, but this is the first time you have had an entire country focused."
