The World Cup 2014 bracket is now into the semifinals round and the draw schedule has the next round set in Brazil, as the host nation joins Argentina, Germany and the Netherlands as the final teams in the tournament and Neymar will be out with a back injury, while Lionel Messi has been the best player overall.

The Brazil tournament has been wildly exciting and the semifinals matchups are very good already, as Brazil will be playing against Germany, while in the previous round it was France and Germany have the other matchup on Friday. Colombia and Brazil is an amazing matchup, as Neymar will be playing against James Rodriguez and that game will be very anticipated with two South American teams matching up. Colombia has been one of the most surprising and skilled teams in this tournament and they now face off against the host nation in this tournament and that will be huge.

France has been one of the stronger teams in this tournament and they come into the game against Germany playing very well and those two teams are the best Euro teams in the tournament along with the Netherlands. Those teams have some history to battle against, as no European team has won in South America when the tournament is there. France scored tons of goals in the group stage and Costa Rica is another surprising team and they will matchup against the Netherlands.

The United States need a ton to happen to win this game against Belgium and Argentina is awaiting the winner of that game. Lionel Messi and Neymar along with Rodriguez are the top scorers in the tournament and names like Thomas Muller, Karim Benzema and Robin Van Persie are all still alive into this round. The Brazilian team has not lost at home in years and now they have that on the line as they go through this tournament. Many teams have still not shown their best performances and teams like Brazil, Argentina and Germany may still have their best games ahead.

The quarterfinals matches start on Friday and the first game is on Jul 4 with France and Germany playing at Rio, while Brazil and Colombia are playing at the Fortaleza. The second matchup is the big one and then games continue on Sunday and have the winner of the US Belgium game playing against Argentina along with Netherlands and Costa Rica. The semis will be on Tuesday and Wednesday and those games are very anticipated and then the 3rd place game will be on Saturday, July 12, while the final is on July 13.
