The NBA free agency period has officially started and the teams with the most salary cap space to sign free agents are the Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Orlando Magic, Charlotte Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks and names like LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kyle Lowry, Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Chandler Parsons and Pau Gasol are at the top of many teams' lists this summer.

The Miami Heat have the most salary cap space because all three of the Big 3 opted out of their contracts and now they are shaping up to sign back once Miami starts making moves. Kyle Lowry and Chandler Parsons are main targets along with Pau Gasol and Eric Bledsoe and depending on what James signs with, the team can make other moves. The team comes in with over $55 million space for now, but that will get taken up by James and company.

The Suns have over $30 million in cap space and they have the chance to make moves this offseason and reports have the team looking at signing LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony if they can. The team comes in ahead of the Sixers, who have $30 million in cap space, while the Jazz are right behind with about that much as well. The Magic are just under $30 million and they have the chance to make some moves, while the Dallas Mavericks have over $25 million and they are going after names like Luol Deng and Carmelo Anthony.

The rest of the list has teams like the Hornets and Pistons, who come in with $23 million, while the Lakers have $22 million to work with and could free up more. The Atlanta Hawks made trades to get their number higher and now these teams all could be making major moves this summer.
