The Vancouver Whitecaps and Montreal Impact are playing on the MLS docket on Wednesday night at 10 pm ET and the game has the Major League Soccer schedule picking up after a break at BC Place in Canada and the matchup will be on MLS.com and has the Whitecaps looking to win over the worst team in the league.

The Whitecaps are fifth in the MLS standings in the western conference and the matchup is an important one as they try to get back in a rhythm after the break. The Sounders are leading the west and they are in the lead with 32 points, while the Whitecaps are in fifth with 21 points and they are ahead of the Portland Timbers in the standings and behind them are the LA Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes and Chivas USA.

The Whitecaps come into the game after a draw with Philadelphia and that was on the road after the team won over the Portland Timbers and now they pick up with Montreal before playing Colorado on the road. After the game against the Rapids, the team has a home matchup with the best team in the league in the Seattle Sounders and that should be a tough game and an important one, while they will host Chivas USA next.

The Impact have had a rough year and they are in last place in the league with 10 points and right now they have just two wins on the season. The DC United are in first place in the eastern conference and they are ahead of the New England Revolution and Sporting Kansas City. Toronto FC is next in the standings, while the New York Red Bulls are next ahead of the Columbus Crew, Houston Dynamo, Philadelphia Union and Chicago Fire, with Montreal is last.

Pedro Morales is the leading scorer and assist man for the team and David Ousted has played well this year and Morales is also leading the team in shots. The Whitecaps have the chance to push their unbeaten streak to eight games and this should be an easy one even with the two week break and the team wants to keep things going into the second half of the season. The team has set a record for the franchise with seven straight unbeaten matches and now they are matching up with the low team in the MLS.
