The World Cup 2014 schedule in Brazil continues this weekend on Saturday and Sunday with group games on ESPN and the start time for the matches comes at 12 pm noon on each day and the live stream coverage is on WatchESPN with Argentina, the United States, Portugal, Nigeria, Germany, Belgium, Ghana and South Korea in action.

The United States and Portugal is the biggest game on the schedule and the most anticipated and this is the chance for the US to really make an impact at the World Cup. The team won its first game in dramatic fashion with a late goal to win 2-1 against Ghana and the United States erased the past history of losing to Ghana in the last two World Cup tournaments and now they are playing against Ronaldo and Portugal in Manaus and that could have a major impact on this game.

England had a rough time in their first game against Italy at the Arena Amazonia and playing in the middle of the Amazon jungle is tough with the conditions and the weather. Some of the games have been wet and humid and that has caused some cramping and physical fatigue and now training will be a key part of things and whoever is better fit could be the winner. Ronaldo comes in banged up and he left the Portugal training session earlier in the week and that could be a major factor in this game, while Clint Dempsey comes in with a fractured nose. Jozy Altidore has a hamstring injury and he is out for the game against Portugal and he could return for the match against Germany if he gets back to good health and Jurgen Klinsmann is hoping that's the case.

The United States won 2-1 against Ghana in that game and things got started off 30 second in with Clint Dempsey scoring a goal and after that the team hung on until Ghana tied things up. John Brooks got the winning goal late and that gave the US three points and now they have the chance to keep things going against Portugal. Brazil, Germany and Argentina came in as favorites and now the Netherlands and France are also in the mix to win this cup with the way they are playing. The games continue through this week in the group stage and then leads into the last 16 knockout round.
