The FIFA World Cup 2014 Group standings has the Netherlands and Chile leading Group B and they are now through to the knockout round after beating Australia and Spain, while England and Uruguay play a group match on Thursday that will be crucial for both teams, as they lost their opening matches and this could be the end for the loser in this matchup.

The Dutch side held on against the Australian team and now they are through to the next stage and they will be considered one of the favorites with the way they are playing. Chile and the Netherlands will be playing against each other next week to see who will be the group winner and that will be very big heading into the knockout stages. The English team needs to rally back after losing to Italy and they could end up having a short trip if they fall against Uruguay, who could be without Luis Suarez in the game.

The schedule on Thursday has Colombia and the Ivory Coast along with Greece and Japan playing in Natal, while the England match against Uruguay will be in Sao Paulo. England lost to Italy in the opening match after a nice goal from Mario Balotelli and now they are in position to top the group if they can win on Friday against Costa Rica.

The Group A standings has Brazil and Mexico at the top with four points each after winning their opening matches and then playing to a draw, while the Netherlands and Chile are the leaders in Group B. Colombia is the top team in Group C with Ivory Coast, while Costa Rica and Italy are on top of England and Uruguay. France and Switzerland lead Group E, while Argentina is the top of group F and the United States leads with Germany after their amazing win over Ghana.
