Brazil and Mexico are playing a Group A World Cup 2014 match on Tuesday live on ESPN from the Estádio Castelão in Fortaleza and the game has live stream coverage starting at 3 pm ET on the WatchESPN website and this matchup is key for both sides as they try to get in position to advance to Group A and this could be the difference in advancing to the knockout stage.

These two teams have met four times in the World Cup and numerous times overall and Brazil is favored coming in and they are one of the favorites overall for the entire tournament. Brazil has defeated El Tri each of the last three times and they have not conceded a goal in those matchups and this will be a tough test for both sides as they try and get points in the second straight game. Brazil opened the tournament with a game against Croatia and won 3-1, while Mexico started off with a victory against Cameroon.

Mexico had to deal with bad officiating going against them, while Brazil had some questionable calls go for them and now the two teams face off against each other. Brazil has outscored Mexico by nearly double in their head to head matchups and goals could become a factor at the end of the group stage and that could make Mexico very angry after two of their goals were wiped off from their first game against Cameroon. Brazil and Mexico have matched up a number of times since the last World Cup and one of those matches was in the Confederations Cup and that was a good test for Brazil coming into the World Cup.

Brazil and Mexico are dealing with injuries, with Hulk coming down in training and now he will be missing out on this game and it could be a factor on the backend depending on how things turnout. Brazil started off a bit sloppy in their first game and they allowed an own goal to open things and they have only lost once in the past 34 matches in the group stage first round. Mexico will be tough, but Brazil plays amazing on their home soil and that means Mexico captain Rafael Marquez will have to bring his leadership to the front and that could be the difference for Mexico.

England opened up their group stage with a loss against Italy and now they have to try and get at least one point against Uruguay in their next game. The biggest question for that game will be whether Luis Suarez plays and Wayne Rooney will have to step things up for England as they try and make a run to the finals for the first time since 1966 and they will have to bounce back with Costa Rica and Italy sitting atop the standings. The United States has some amazing momentum, as they won against Ghana to open group play and now they are in position to get out of the group of death after the win and they are tied in points with Germany, who is the overwhelming favorite to win the group.
