The FIFA Brazil 2014 World Cup fixture schedule picks up on Tuesday and Wednesday with some major matchups, as Brazil and Mexico are playing the second game of Group A on the calendar, while Russia, South Korea, Spain, Chile, the Netherlands and Australia are all in action and this comes after the United States had an amazing win against Ghana to open Group G aka the Group of Death.

The games on Tuesday begin with Belgium taking on Algeria and that is the final group playing their first games, while Russia and South Korea finish the first set of group games. Mexico and Brazil open up the second set of games as the first teams to play after Brazil started off on Thursday for Group A. The host nation won over Croatia for three points to lead the group and that was followed by Mexico, who won over Cameroon to get three points as well.

Brazil leads now on goals and that could be a factor at the end of the group stage, as Mexico had two goals waved off in their game for offside that ended up being the wrong calls. The schedule has Mexico and Brazil playing at 3 pm ET and that is the biggest match on Tuesday, while Wednesday has the defending champions back in action after losing their opening game and that makes this match crucial for Spain.

Spain does not have much room for error now after getting throttled by the Netherlands in a rematch of the final from South Africa and they have to find a way to get points against Chile. Cameroon and Croatia are playing that day, while Australia and the Netherlands play and this is chance for the Dutch to take full control of the group.

Check here for the lineup and schedule as the World Cup 2014 schedule picks up from Brazil for some of the second set of group stage games into next week.
