Switzerland and Ecuador are playing on the World Cup schedule live on ABC on TV and live stream coverage from WatchESPN and it starts at 12 pm noon ET and comes from the Estádio Nacional de Brasília and it's a huge match for the Group E as things kick off on Sunday and the Swiss come in as the ranked team, but Ecuador has talent and could pull off the win.

Switzerland comes into the game as one of the ranked FIFA teams and they had a solid year coming in and while they are not getting a ton of credit they could be a sleeper out of this group. The World Cup started off with the host nation Brazil beating Croatia and while it was 3-1 the matchup had it's fair share of controversy and Neymar finished with two goals in the game. The crowd was very strong and so were the protests nearby to start off the tournament, but eventually they were broken up by police and the fans drowned out any of that noise. Brazil gave up an own goal early in the game and that seemed like a bad omen, but the team was able to respond.

Brazil scored a goal to two things up and then the first drama came when Fred went down and that gave the team a penalty kick and many called that a dive and that resulted in a crucial goal and it was all Brazil from there and they ended up winning with three goals and the Croatia coach was furious after the game and called attention to the flop and officiating in the match. Group A now has Brazil and Mexico at the top while Croatia and Cameroon are the bottom teams.

Mexico agreed with Croatia about the officials, as their game was marred by missed calls and bad weather, but El Tri was able to escape with a win anyway. Mexico saw two goals get disallowed and replay clearly showed that the goals in both instances should have counted and the Mexican side was able to recover and now they have a crucial group match coming up against Brazil next.

Spain was throttled by the Netherlands in their opening match and that was a surprise to everyone and now the defending champions need to rebound in their next game after losing a rematch of the 2010 final to Holland. Robin van Persie had an amazing header to get the Dutch even and he later scored another goal, while Art Robben had two goals as well as that gave the Netherlands some revenge for their finals loss four years ago to Spain. The Dutch took advantage of Iker Casillas and he had a rough game and now the defending champions have to find a way to win their next game and that will be crucial for them if they want to advance out of the group stage and into the knockout rounds. This is a huge match for both teams and comes as the schedule picks up for the group.
