NBA Playoffs Standings Finals 2014: Miami Heat Need Game 4 Win Against Spurs For 2-2 Series

The NBA playoffs standings for the finals in 2014 has the Spurs up 2-1 in the series and the Miami Heat and LeBron James need to win in Game 4 to get the series tied 2-2 and that matchup on Thursday night will be crucial for the two teams as San Antonio tries to go up with a commanding 3-1 lead.

The matchup starts at 9 pm ET on ABC on Thursday night for Game 4 and the next matchup after that will be back in San Antonio at the AT&T Center and if necessary it will go back for Game 6 in South Beach. The Game 7 matchup if necessary will be on Tuesday, June 17 at 9 pm ET on ABC and that will be in Texas and while the series is taking shape like it did last season, this time the home court is reversed and the format has changed. Last year the format was 2-3-2 with Miami as the home team, while this year it's 2-2-1-1-1 and San Antonio has home court.

The Heat did not play well for long stretches in Game 3 and the team went down 25 points early and while they cut things in the second half and now they need to rebound. James had 22 points and seven assists ni the game and now they will matchup on Thursday.
