The NBA playoff standings has the NBA finals now 3-1 as the series heads to San Antonio and now the Heat lost to the San Antonio Spurs again in a blowout and now they are up in the series be looking to win Game 4 to get a 4-1 win in the best of seven series and the matchup starts at 8 pm ET on Sunday from the AT&T as LeBron James and the Big 3 go for championship number 3 against Tim Duncan and the Spurs.
The Heat come into the game after winning in Game 2 and that was expected by everyone after the team lost Game 1 and they came through. The team has not lost after a playoffs loss under the Big 3 and now that mark still stands and so does the Spurs mark of winning every game 1 in the finals they have played in. The Miami Heat have rallied before to win series and now they have to find a way to do it again. James has been leading the Heat in scoring, assists and rebounds during the playoffs and he was the key in Game 2 and now Miami has some momentum heading into Game 3 and that will be at home in South Beach.
James scored 35 points and had 10 rebounds in the 98-96 win against the Spurs and the game did not end up being as close as two at the end, as Manu Ginobili hit a three as the buzzer sounded. The Heat only lost nine games at home during the regular season and now they matchup against the Spurs, who were one of the best road teams in the league while going 30-11 on the season. Tony Parker is leading the Spurs in scoring this postseason with 17 per game and he is also averaging five assists and he will be key for San Antonio as they try to win on the road against the Heat.
James has been getting some great play from Dwyane Wade all through the playoffs and missing 30 games during the regular season has really been a boost for him, as he has looked fresh and healthy in the postseason. Wade is averaging 18 points in the playoffs and now Miami has tipped home court in their direction and they did that against the Indiana Pacers as well. Miami let Wade sit during the season and let home court advantage in the east slip away and the Pacers ended up in the top seed and obviously that didn't factor into the playoffs for Indiana, as Miami advanced to the finals after defeating them for the second straight season in the east finals.
