Nadal won that title for his eighth career major championship at the French Open and now is looking for a record number nine this year, extending his own record. Nadal has made it to five straight quarterfinals rounds at the French Open for the first time in his career and with a win at the major he can become the first player to win five straight titles at Roland Garros. Nadal has been dominant at Roland Garros and has lost only one match in his career and Djokovic has yet to win a major at the French and that looks like the matchup that will play out. Ernests Gulbis comes in after winning the biggest match of his career against Roger Federer and then he won another huge matchup against Tomas Berdych to advance to the semifinals and he said that he is ready to try and make it into the finals. Djokovic won against Raonic in a very tough match that went only three sets but nearly all of them went the distance and now he is into the semis.
