Aaron Hernandez, former player for the NFL's New England Patriots football team, attends a pre-trial hearing at the Bristol County Superior Court in Fall River, Massachusetts October 9, 2013, in connection with the death of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd in June. Hernandez, who was a rising star in the NFL before his arrest and release by the Patriots, has pleaded not guilty."

Aaron Hernandez has been indicted for a double murder from 2012 and now police will hold a live press conference on Thursday at 11:30 and the live stream will be on ESPN and WatchESPN from SportsCenter as the authorities make their announcement and they could release information and evidence about the shooting and Hernandez' connection and this is on top of the Odin Lloyd killing for which he is being held on first degree murder charges.

ESPN.com reports that Hernandez is now the athlete in the most trouble since OJ Simpson and Roger Cossack said on air that this could mean that Hernandez does not get out of jail for years. The Odin Lloyd murder trial has not even set a date and now this double murder will play out and that could be a separate trial in a different county and that will make things tough for the legal team as they try to defend their client. Hernandez now is in tons of trouble and this could play out for a long time, as the murder of Lloyd occurred last year and there is still a long way to go until a trial in that case.

Hernandez and his defense team now have a much harder battle in defending the first murder charge and this adds plenty more for the lawyers to do as well. The double murder charge was hunted about earlier in the year, as Hernandez was connected to that original crime after a car was found in his uncle's home and was traced back to the shooting. On top of that, Hernandez was seen at a nightclub where the two men were before the drive by shooting and that put him close to the crime scene and it was reported that the group of men had a dispute with Hernandez and his group.

The 23-year-old former Patriots tight end could end up facing a life behind bars if he is convicted of the murder and now a number of associates have been charged with crimes as well, including accomplices Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace, Hernandez's cousin Tanya Singleton, as well as his fiance Shayanna Jenkins. The death of Lloyd has been described as a premeditated murder and lawyers painted the tight end as the orchestrator of the crime after he and Lloyd got into a disagreement at a nightclub.

The last time Hernandez appeared in court, his mother Terri and his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins were seated in the courtroom and there is a chance they could be there again. Jenkins is facing her own charges for perjury and while her lawyer called the case against her overreaching, she will have to face them in court for an arraignment next week.
