The Oklahoma City Thunder and LA Clippers are playing on Tuesday night and the matchup for Game 5 from Chesapeake Energy Arena comes at 9:30 pm ET from TV on TNT and the matchup is streaming online as Kevin Durant and Chris Paul try and get the 3-2 series lead heading into the next game and this will be huge after the Clips made an epic comeback in the last matchup that OKC easily should have been able to win.

The Thunder blew a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series and when it comes to the NBA, that basically means a series is done and now things are tied 2-2 and the winner of this game will be favored to move on to the next series. The Clippers have had to deal with the Donald Sterling situation and that has been a major distraction and now they have the chance to get back to basketball. The team was able to overcome a terrible start and after going down 22 points early, they made a comeback and Darren Collison hit a huge shot and they pulled away late to get the win at home and losing both at the Staples Center would have been devastating.

The Thunder know what they need to do at home in Game 5 and the team is coming into things after Kevin Durant scored 40 points and had seven rebounds and that performance from the MVP was wasted and now they have to try and rebound. The Clippers have some momentum after getting a win like they did in Game 4 and they will try and shut down Russell Westbrook. Who had eight assists in the game to lead OKC.

The series has been getting chippy and Blake Griffin has been in the mix and so has Serge Ibaka and now the two teams will be battling to see who gets the 3-2 advantage on Tuesday night. The Blazers won in the other west series to make it 3-1, but after losing the first three they are toast, while the Pacers are up 3-1 and now so are the Miami Heat and they can close things out in the next game against the Brooklyn Nets. Doc Rivers had Chris Paul guarding Kevin Durant and that was a very interesting move, as it didn't work overall, as Durant had 40 points, but it may have been enough to throw him off at the end of the game and that helped the Clippers win.

Griffin is leading the Clippers in scoring on average heading into this game, while Durant is putting up over 3-0 per contest and he will be the focal point for Oklahoma City. Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul are leading in assists, while Durant and DeAndre Jordan are tops in rebounds. Griffin had 25 points to lead the Clippers in the last game, while Paul had 10 assists and Jordan added 14 rebounds and now those three players will need to be great on Tuesday night to win out and get the series advantage.
