The NY Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins are playing on the NHL playoffs schedule on Sunday and Game 2 comes after New York won in overtime and the game is on the NBC Sports Network and streaming from the live extra website and starts up at 7:30 pm ET with NY up 1-0 in the series at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pitt and it gives Sidney Crosby and company a chance to even up the second round matchup.

The Rangers got two goals at the end of the game in the first matchup, but the first goal from Brassard was not seen by officials and it took another score right after to end the game, although it was officially credited to Brassard after the victory. The Rangers played a seven game series to start the playoffs and they alternated wins and losses while starting with a victory over the Philadelphia Flyers and they ended up winning Game 7 in that series at home at MSG to stay undefeated in those matchups at the Garden and while they had to play four games in six days, the team was able to get a win against the Penguins to start the series.

The Penguins are the second seeded team in the east and the Rangers only chance at winning the series was taking one of those first two games, as Game 3 will be coming on back to back nights and that makes six games in nine nights for the team. The Rangers have played too many seven game series over the past few years and the team now is the first to win in three different arenas in four nights and now they are going to be back on the ice again. The team has a 1-0 lead and they have lost 12 straight games when having a lead in a series and they hope to end that trend.

The Chicago Blackhawks are up 2-0 against the Minnesota Wild after winning 4-1 and they got two goals from Brandon Saad and one from Jonathan Toews and Bryan Bickell and Corey Crawford had another solid game and he has had 48 saves on 51 shots in this series and the team beat up on Ilya Bryzgalov and now they have the chance to take control in that series.
