The New York Giants have some major questions coming into the draft and Jerry Reese has made some decent free agent moves this offseason and now names like Mike Evans, Eric Ebron, CJ Mosley, Aaron Donald, Zack Martin, Jace Amaro and Odell Beckham could be options for the team when the draft hits on May 8.

The Giants come into things after starting last season 0-6 and while the rebounded to finish 7-9, the team has its lowest draft pick in years at number 12 and that means they can get a solid player, as the pool this season is deep. The top 10 has some great players and the top 20 should produce some starters and that is what the Giants are looking for. The team made a number of moves this offseason, ditching Hakeem Nicks and Justin Tuck and adding Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Walter Thurmond as well as Rashad Jennings and now Reese has some options in the first round. The team could trade down, but that is looking unlikely, as they have seven draft picks and while that isn't a ton, that is enough for a straight draft and that could be what Reese is looking to do.

The team may go offense with the number 12 pick, but the Giants are a team that goes for the best player usually and that means it could be on either side of the ball. If Eric Ebron is there at 12, expect Reese to think long and hard about making that move, as he is very athletic and is in the mold of Jimmy Graham and the Giants are very thin at tight end. Jace Amaro set records this past season in college with his stats and along with Ebron those two players are very interesting prospects and each can sever almost as a wide receiver on offense.

The Giants don't usually make the tight end a priority, but with Ben McAdoo coming in and bringing a new offense for Eli Manning, expect Ebron and Amaro to be on the radar. There is no way Mike Evans is lasting until the 12th pick, but if he does, Reese will make that move. Evans could be the perfect replacement for Nicks, as he is big and strong with deep threat ability and he averaged 20 yards per catch last season with the Aggies and he could be great behind Victor Cruz and Reuben Randle in the offense.

The team picked Justin Pugh last season in the first round, so expect the team to pass on Zack Martin and while CJ Mosley would be a great pick, the Giants usually don't pick linebackers that high and after signing back Jon Beason it isn't as much of a priority. Other receivers in the draft include Beckham as well as Marqise Lee and those players along with Brandin Cooks will be available at the 12th spot as well.
