New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram (22) looks to stiff arm Philadelphia Eagles safety Nate Allen (29) during the third quarter during the 2013 NFC wild card playoff football game at Lincoln Financial Field. "

The Denver Broncos are heading into 2014 looking for a Super Bowl and after signing a number of free agents, a trade for Saints running back Mark Ingram could be a fit for Peyton Manning's offense, as the team lost Knowshon Moreno in the offseason and he could be an option over names like Carlos Hyde, Tre Mason, Andre Williams, Jeremy Hill and De'Anthony Thomas in the NFL draft to pair with Montee Ball for next season.

The trade for Ingram could come in the offseason or during the season and while it's unlikely that the Broncos will make a move, things could change as the season gets closer. According to ESPN.com, Ingram will not have his fifth year option picked up by the Saints and that is one reason why a deal could be possible. The Saints traded away Darren Sproles in the offseason, but clearly they still do not see Ingram as the future if they decline the option. Last year he was injured for part of the season, but had a career high 145 yards against the Cowboys and ended up with 386 yards and one touchdown while missing five games overall.

The Broncos gave up a ton of yards last season on defense and they made some moves to help with that, adding in the secondary with Aqib Talib and shoring up the pass rush with DeMarcus Ware and as the draft comes closer to starting, the team is putting the finishing touches on their draft boards. According to ESPN.com, the Broncos are looking at running backs in the draft and they also see linebacker as a need after what happened with Von Miller last year and that puts CJ Mosley in the mix from Alabama.

While the Broncos have pick number 31 in the first round, they have seven overall and that means they could look to move up at some point if they see a player they like. Mosley is looked at as a mid-first round pick and if he starts to slip, they could jump up and grab him. John Elway has a straight draft to work with and with a team like the Broncos that is not a major issue, as they clearly have less holes to fill than a team that went 3-13 last season rather than one that lost in the Super Bowl.

After the way the Seahawks demolished the Broncos in the Super Bowl defense appears to be a priority this offseason, but the team has done a good job of looking at other areas as well. After losing Eric Decker the team is likely to add someone at wide receiver in the draft, but if not they are still very solid with Wes Welker and Demaryius Thomas, while Julius Thomas is a great tight end option as well. Last season the Broncos ranked 15th in rushing yards per game and after losing Moreno they would like to add to that and a player like Hyde could be an option in the draft. Thomas and Mason are also very quick backs and that could work very well in an offense with Manning if they are used out of the backfield as pass catchers.
