The NY Jets have big decision to make coming into the draft this year, as they have the picks to trade up for someone like Mike Evans or Sammy Watkins, while the team also may be looking at Odell Beckham, Logan Thomas, Jimmy Garoppolo or Tajh Boyd and that could mean trouble in the future for Geno Smith of Michael Vick beats him out for the starting job in 2014.

The Jets are playing coy for now, but it's very likely that Vick starts this year and adding another solid receiver behind Eric Decker, Jacoby Ford and Stephen Hill would be huge for the team. Even if it's not Evans or Watkins, the Jets have plenty of options at the position, as Beckham and his teammate Jarvis Landry will be available, while Marqise Lee and Kelvin Benjamin are also options this year.

The Jets have met with Thomas and Garoppolo and Boyd also could fit into things and while those players would be later round picks, it could mean trouble down the line for Smith. Last season Smith played well at times, but he was erratic at others and some development this season could be big for his career and training camp will be interesting to see how the Jets approach the QB situation.

The Jets have a ton of draft picks this year and that means they have the flexibility to move up or down if they choose and that could put them in the mix for players like Sammy Watkins and Mike Evans. While Rex Ryan and John Idzik may not want to make a move like that since the draft is so deep, it is an option after the team hoarded draft picks, which is something that they have not usually done in the past. The team traded up a few years ago to get Mark Sanchez and while that didn't work out, it wasn't Idzik who did it, so he may not be worried about doing it again.

The top part of the draft this season looks very strong and a player like Watkins could be worth moving up for, while Evans has the attention of a number of teams and he could be a target as well. Evans is coming into the draft after having another great season with Texas A&M and he averaged 20 yards per catch last season while playing with Johnny Manziel and he had 69 catches for over 1,300 yards and while the Jets signed Eric Decker, more depth at wide receiver could be huge for Geno Smith and Michael Vick.

Watkins is likely too far out of reach for the Jets, but he would be an amazing pick after his career at Clemson and he comes out after having a very productive season last year and he could give the team a deep threat that has explosive speed. The Jets pick at number 18 in the draft and they also have second and third round picks along with three fourth round picks, one of which is a compensatory pick. The team received four of those this season and while those cannot be traded, it gives the Jets flexibility to move their other picks and that could enable them to move. The team has one sixth round pick to trade among the four they have, while the team also has seventh and fifth round picks.
