United will play against Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarter-final second leg soccer match on Wednesday in Germany."

Bayern Munich and Manchester United are playing the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinals round matchup on Wednesday from Allianz Arena and the live stream coverage comes from FOX Soccer streaming starting up at 2:45 pm ET and has the Red Devils looking to make a statement after a draw at Old Trafford and David Moyes is looking for Wayne Rooney to be key in the football game as Man U tries to upset the defending champs.

Manchester United has the chance to pull one of the biggest uipsets here and it will be very difficult to win away against Bayern, as they have been extremely dominant and home and with the up and down play of the Red Devils, they will need to be completely on top of their game to move on in the Champions League, which Chelsea did with an amazing comeback against PSG on Tuesday in that match, while Real Madrid also lost their matchup with Dortmund. Man U was frustrated with the refs in the first match and they felt they could have gotten another goal in the leg against Bayern at home and now they hit the road as the final set of the schedule starts to play out. Moving on in the Champs League is their best bet to keep going, as they are down on the Premier League table and may need a miracle to get back into qualifying position.

Manchester United comes in after a nice win against Newcastle and that saw Rooney out with a toe injury and that came after the draw with the Champs and they also had a nice 4-1 victory at home against Aston Villa. Before that the Red Devils suffered an embarrassing defeat at home, losing 3-0 to Manchester City in the Derby and that has been too much of a common occurrence this season in the first year under David Moyes. The club now is looking to finish strong and they have half of their next games at home at Old Trafford and that should give the team a chance to end the year on a high note.

Rooney is dealing with some pain after being ruled out of the game over the weekend with a toe injury and while Moyes admitted that it is risky to have one of his best players out there with an injury, Rooney is getting treatment and is motivated to help his team win. Getting a victory here would be massive and it could help fans forget about the forgettable season that United has had and they will need Rooney to be strong, as Robin Van Persie is still out of the lineup and he will miss the next few weeks as well and that puts even more pressure on the club to perform.

Rooney and the team have a tough matchup with Everton at Goodison Park coming next and then they will play against Norwich at home and that opens up a three game set at home at Old Trafford. The team then plays against Sunderland and Hull City before finishing on the road against Southampton and with that schedule, they at least have a chance to move up, as they are not facing any of the top teams in the EPL down the stretch. Rooney will be key for the team once again and their chances all rely on his strong boot.
