The Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins are facing off on Thursday night and the NHL game is streaming from the NHL Network and online from the NHL.com website at 7 pm ET from the TD Garden and the game is a rematch of the Stanley Cup from last year and gives the Bruins a chance at revenge as the two teams make a push towards the playoffs.

The Blackhawks head to Boston for the first time since winning the Stanley Cup and the team comes into the game after a nice win against the Dallas Stars and they have once again been one of the best teams in the NHL. The team is second in their division behind the St. Louis Blues and they have 99 points, while the Bruins come in as division leaders and they have 104 points and 49 wins on the season. The Blackhawks will be without Bryan Bickell for the fourth straight game and that will be tough to overcome and they meet a team that recently had their 12 game win streak snapped.

The two teams played a hard fought Stanley Cup last year and now they will matchup on Thursday and for the Hawks it comes ahead of another road game in the east against the Ottawa Senators. The team comes in as the first ranked team in the league in scoring with over three goals per game and they have been great in net, averaging less than three allowed per game to rank ninth and they have also been excellent on the power play, ranking sixth in the league in that special teams category and that is where the game could turn on Thursday night for the east and west defending champions.

This season Patrick Sharp has been leading the team in scoring and he also is tops in goals and points and Duncan Keith has been excellent once again, while Corey Crawford is the leader in net. The Blackhawks have been battling with the Blues in the division all season and now they are six points back heading into the back stretch and they will try and close that gap. The Blues traded for Ryan Miller at the deadline and that has been huge for the team and now they are looking like one of the favorites in the western conference.

The Bruins come into the game first in the Atlantic and they had their streak snapped with a loss to the Montreal Canadiens and that came at home in a shootout and they have a clear shot as the top spot in the conference and coming into the game they will be ready for the high hitting attack of Chicago. This will be the second time that the teams have played since the Cup and it comes after the Blackhawks won at home at the United Center and that was in a 3-2 shootout that saw Brad Marchand score two goals in the game and the only goal in the shootout, while Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane added the goals in the shootout and goalie Tuukka Rask finished with 35 saves and now they all have a chance at revenge.
