Manchester United's manager David Moyes (R) is challenged by Wayne Rooney (C) during a training session at the club's Carrington training complex in Manchester, northern England March 18, 2014. United are set to play Greek side Olympiakos in the Champions League on Wednesday. "

Manchester United and Olympiakos are playing live on the UEFA Champions League schedule on Wednesday for a round of 16 second leg match and the game comes streaming from FOX Soccer 2Go at Old Trafford at 3:45 pm ET and gives the Red Devils a chance at redemption, as David Moyes, Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie are looking to get back on track after their first leg and recent Premier League defeats.

Man U is having its toughest season in years and they are in danger of missing the Champions League this year for the first time in quite a while and now Rooney and Moyes are looking to rebound this week and into the weekend when the EPL picks up. The Champions League has Zenit St Petersburg and Borussia Dortmund playing on Wednesday as well and that match kicks off at the same time as the Manchester set.

Old Trafford has not been as friendly to Manchester United in recent weeks and now they have the chance to build back some goodwill with fans, as they have three of the next four matches at home. The team comes in after a disappointing defeat against Liverpool and that came at Old Trafford and saw Luis Suarez add yet another goal to his league leading total and that came after a win on the road against West Brom. Before that was the 2-0 loss against Olympiakos on the road and now Manchester United has to get ahead early and they need to score to move forward after the round of 16.

The next stretch of the schedule will decide whether the team has a realistic shot to do anything at the end and while Chelsea is out of reach, crazier things have happened and they next play against West Ham United at Upton Park and that is a must win for the team. Manchester United then hosts Manchester City at Old Trafford and that will be a huge battle and they must win that match, as Man City is in the top part of the league table now. The team has other tough matches with Aston Villa, Norwich City, Sunderland and Hull City before finishing against Southampton and they are hoping for more Champions League play as well.

Rooney and Moyes have said that the team is not giving up on the season and that has to start with Olympiakos on Wednesday and they have the chance to put a spark in the team if they can advance out of the round of 16 and into the next stretch. Moyes knows that the fans are not happy and he said that he hopes to get the chance to build back the team and after adding Juan Mata earlier in the year, the club has more ahead of them and they are now 14 points back on the Premier League table.

The toughest thing is that they have nine matches left and that is not a lot of points to win and they are seventh on the table, while Chelsea is in first place. Liverpool is second with Arsenal tied in points and the Gunners are ahead of Manchester City, while Tottenham and Everton are ahead of Man U.
