Knowshon Moreno is the biggest free agent target left on the market at running back and teams like the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos are in the mix and those teams also could be looking at Ben Tate as an option to sign in free agency at the running back positions.

According to ESPN.com, Tate is a prime target for the Browns and he is coming off of a strong season with the Texans after coming in for Arian Foster and he had over 700 yards rushing to lead the team. The Miami Dolphins are a fit, as they rushed for only 90 yards per game last season and ranked 26th in the NFL and now they could look at both Tate and Moreno, as they need a stronger back to start over Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller, as neither player was all that great last season, especially over the final stretch. The Falcons have a need at running back and the Denver Broncos could look to bring back Moreno or add Tate after their spending spree that included defensive players in DeMarcus Ware, Aqib Talib and TJ Ward.

Moreno had his best professional season last year with over 1,000 yards and double digit touchdowns and the Dolphins feel like a fit, as they have the money to pay him as well. The team traded Jonathan Martin and signed Branden Albert and that will help the running game, but they need another guard at least and they also have a need at right tackle and their offensive line issues from last season was a mess and gave up nearly 60 sacks and with Richie Incognito gone as well the team basically could have a whole new offensive line.

Moreno had 1,038 yards last season and 10 touchdowns and while he was a huge part of the Broncos success, the team feels they can bring in another back and while he is only 27, that is getting up to that scary 30 year age number for RBs. The Giants normally would be in the mix for both, but they signed Rashad Jennings and the Raiders signed Darren McFadden back and that leaves Moreno and Tate as the best options on the market.

The Raiders brought back McFadden, but he has been injured so much the team needs another option and Tate could be a fit and so could Moreno. Tate had over 700 yards rushing and four touchdowns and he showed how tough he is by playing with broken ribs as well. Moreno previously had ACL surgery a couple years ago and that could make teams cautious, but the Broncos likely will let him go since they have Montee Ball from the draft last season.

Moreno is a dual threat and he added 60 catches and three touchdowns in the air and wherever he goes he could end up being a solid receiver as well. Tate could come in for the Browns and take over and he looks to be in line for a starting job now that he is on the market from the Texans.
