Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are playing on Tuesday in the Champions League round of 16 and the match is streaming online from Vicente Calderon on Fox Soccer 2Go and has two strong teams looking to win and the La Liga squad has the chance to move on, as they have a lead coming into the game and that came after a goal from leader Diego Costa.
The team comes in right at the top of La Liga and they are only three points back now of Real Madrid and Costa has been the most consistent player on the team, leading Madrid in scoring for both the Champions League and overall. The team has a 1-0 lead after getting that goal from Costa in the last game three weeks ago and that was in Italy and now the team will try and finish things off and the 1-0 victory means it's still up for grabs into the next round.
The team is looking to get to the quarters for the first time in over a decade and coach Diego Simeone feels that the team is ready and they will be aggressive and they will try and control the flow of the game and they want to stop AC Milan from getting work in the offensive zone. Mario Balotelli will get plenty of attention and the team comes in after a loss, win and draw as results in their last three La Liga matches. The team is one up on Barcelona and they are just a few back of Real Madrid as the season pushes to the end of the schedule and now they have the chance to keep their momentum going in the Champions League.
Costa is leading with 21 goals for the team in La Liga and he has been their most consistent player along with David Villa, who has 13 goals this season. Madrid has some tough matches coming up and they finish the season against Barcelona at Estadio Camp Nou and that could have a huge impact on the La Liga table and the team luckily doesn't matchup with Real Madrid for the rest of the season.
Balotelli is leading Milan in Serie A and he has 10 goals over the five from Kaka and the team comes in after a win and two losses in Serie A and they are way back of Juventus on the league table. Milan has some tough matches coming up on the schedule and they are looking to surprise Madrid, who are the favorites at home and while they have a slight lead, Balotelli said he has not given up and will be pushing hard on Tuesday.
