Real Madrid's coach Carlos Ancelotti (C) watches his team during a training session in Gelsenkirchen February 25, 2014. Schalke 04 will play Real Madrid in their Champions League soccer match on Wednesday. "

Schalke and Real Madrid are playing in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday and the match comes after Manchester United lost no Tuesday and the game comes live from Veltins-Arena and streaming online from Fox Soccer 2Go for the Round of 16 first leg and it's the last game of the round before things pick up in March and the match today starts up at 2:45 pm ET.

Real Madrid comes into the game after a win against Elche in La Liga play and now they are ready for their first leg in the Champions League and they are not taking anything for granted. Cristiano Ronaldo is leading the club with 22 goals this season, while Gareth Bale is third with 10 and he is also tops in assists, as Bale as nine and Ronaldo has six. Ronaldo was the FIFA Ballon d'Or winner and now he is looking to get his team to the next round and it comes as Real is battling Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in their own league, as they have a three point lead on the Primera Division table right now.

Ronaldo has been out of the mix lately after serving a three game suspension for getting sent off earlier in the month and now he will return for the Champions League and they now have gone undefeated over 27 games and have won 23 over all competitions and now they are looking to continue that on Wednesday. The match comes as the team has kept 13 clean sheets over the last 15 fixtures and now they have a three point lead in their league and they also are already through to the Copa Del Rey finals and this in the Champions League could be another achievement.

Schalke is fourth on the table in Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich and they are unbeaten on the schedule since back in December and they now are just behind Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen. Real Madrid has not always been their best on German soil and they are looking to rectify that on Wednesday and it comes after Manchester United was beaten by Olympiakos and now they need to win three goals clear just to advance to the next round and Real is hoping to avoid the same fate in their first leg, as they have won only once in the past 25 matches in Euro competitions and the last time back they lost over Borussia Dortmund badly in the Champions League match.

Gareth Bale has been playing well for Real and he is ready to start and play a match on Wednesday after dealing with some issues and he appears ready to go at full strength. Bale said that he felt good heading into the match and Carlo Ancelotti said he would not be limited at all on the pitch after the team had to play multiple contests without Ronaldo. Jese Rodriguez has been playing well, but Bale got the nod and Schalke will be ready with Julian Draxler and they are planning on holding onto him for the long term. The match starts up at 2:45 ET on Wednesday and will be streaming from FOX.
