The Sacramento Kings have been one of the most active teams in the NBA this season with trades and acquisitions and now they could be adding Royce White after a workout, while they also are working on a buyout with Jimmer Fredette and the sharpshooter could sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies or San Antonio Spurs if he becomes a free agent.

The Kings made deals already this season for Derrick Williams and Rudy Gay and now they are working on the buyout for Fredette just as they work out White. According to Bleacher Report, the Houston Chronicle reports that the team has worked out White and they could sign him after Fredette is fully bought out and officially clears waivers and becomes a free agent. The team could add him after making a deal for Williams and that would give the team two recent first round picks that did not work out on their original teams, while their own in Fredette will be moving on. Kinda ironic.

White deserves a chance to get back into the league after he was traded from the Houston Rockets to the Sixers and then released. White has dealt with mental health issues in the past, but the Kings could be a more supportive team than his past two and White also had to deal with Daryl Morey calling him the worst first round pick ever and making fun of him, very classy for a GM, you know, the one who actually picked him. While White has been a disappointment, the Rockets did not give him a real chance to get with the team and the Sixers appeared to be more of the same and now the Kings could get into the mix.

According to ESPN.com, Fredette will get attention from the Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs if he is bought out. Fredette never could find a legit role with the team and he has been killing it from three point range this season, shooting nearly 50 percent to lead all players.
