The Los Angeles Lakers started things off with a trade of Steve Blake and now players like Pau Gasol, Jordan Hill and Chris Kaman could be next, as teams like the As Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, New Orleans Pelicans, Bobcats and Trail Blazers could be interested.

The Lakers have been considered a seller at the deadline and Pau Gasol has been at the top of that list, as rumors have linked the team with deals to the Phoenix Suns and Cavaliers this season. Gasol is likely not moving now that he was injured a bit last week and the Suns have stepped back and may not even make a move at the deadline. According to ESPN.com, Jordan Hill has become a top target and a number of teams could be interested, including the Bobcats, Atlanta Hawks, Pelicans and the Brooklyn Nets.

The ESPN.com report says that New Orleans and Brooklyn are the top teams chasing him and one reason the Nets can do it is because of their Disable Player Exception and that could lead to a move. The Lakers have received some interest in Hill from multiple teams and after making the Blake trade for Kent Bazemore and MarShon Brooks on the Warriors, the team will be looking for something decent in return.

The Lakers season has been a lost one, but if they get some picks or relief or even young players in return, it could end up being very fruitful in the future when Kobe Bryant returns. Hill is the top target and Gasol will continue to get interest, but it's likely that he goes nowhere at the deadline, which has been a recurring theme for him in recent years. Steve Blake's move was a bit of a head scratcher, as the Lakers did not really get much in return apart from some money saving, which obviously was the goal.

According to ESPN.com, the Brooklyn Nets, New Orleans Pelicans, Charlotte Bobcats, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns and Atlanta Hawks have all looked into Hill and that is a move that may end up going down due to all that interest. The report says that Blake's move gives the team $4 million in savings since the two players they got make half that and now they are gearing up for the Hill move.

The Pelicans and Nets could use the front court help and Hill has played himself into this talk with his solid stats of eight points and seven rebounds per game. The Nets have already made one move for Marcus Thornton and this could be next.
