Canada's goalie Roberto Luongo (L) is congratulated by Patrice Bergeron and other teammates after they defeated Austria in their men's preliminary round ice hockey game at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, February 14, 2014. "

Finland and Canada are playing live in the men's Olympics hockey tournament schedule on Sunday for the last game of their group B set and comes streaming online from Sochi on NBC and the game will be on TV from the USA Network and comes after the Canadian team routed Austria and now they have the chance to go undefeated in the preliminary round.

Canada comes into the tournament as one of the favorites for the gold medal and comes after they defeated the United States in Vancouver 2010 and that was one of the best final games ever in the Olympics. The team had Roberto Luongo in net for the second game and that came after Carey Price made his Olympics debut and the United States played against Slovenia, while Russia played against Slovakia for the final group matches.

The United States won that match and now they are 2-0-1 in the first set of games after winning against Russia in a shootout and that puts the team through to the next round and they will likely be one of the bye teams. All 12 teams will make it into the next round with four teams getting byes based on points and then goals and the United States and Canada remain as two of the favorites and the Canadians rebounded with a big win against Austria and they shut the team out 6-0 after Jeff Carter scored a hat trick and on the same weekend that Phil Kessel did it for the US and now both of those teams are through to the next round.

Austria was not prepared for the firepower of Canada and the team had nearly 50 shots and this contest was not nearly as close as the opening match for the team and now they play against Finland in their next toughest game after having no issues on Friday. Carter scored all three goals in a row during the game on Friday and the team showed why they are considered the favorites and why they will be tough to beat moving forward. The Russian team is also hoping to medal at the games, but right now it looks like the US and Canada are once again the teams to beat.

The team won two nights in a row after getting the goals from Carter as well as Shea Weber and Ryan Getzlaf and that came after Carey Price made his first start and while the Canadians alternated goalies, the United States used Jonathan Quick in net and he has come through with some great play. The gold medal game comes next Sunday and the bronze medal game will be the day before.
