Champions League Schedule Fixtures: UEFA Matches Start February For Round of 16 First Legs

The Champions League fixture schedule starts up for the UEFA teams into the round of 16 in February for the first legs and then will pick up in March for the second matches and there are a number of top teams in the mix, including Manchester City, Barcelona, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid and those all could be great matchups.

After the group stage finished off, the draw was set and a number of teams got tough opponents to deal with, including Manchester City and Arsenal, who will have to play Barcelona and champions Bayern Munich respectively and those could be very tough. The first matches on the schedule have Bayer Leverkusen taking on Paris Saint-Germain at BayArena to start the round of 16 and that comes on Tuesday February 18 at 2:45 pm ET and other match on the day will have Barca and Man City.

The first leg between Manchester City and Barcelona will be at the Etihad Stadium and Lionel Messi is expected to be back in top form by the match. After those two matches, the schedule picks up on Wednesday with Ac Milan playing against Atletico Madrid at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and all the times for these matches are at 2:45 pm ET as well. Arsenal and Bayern Munich are playing one of the most anticipated matches of the round and that will have the first leg from Emirates Stadium.

Zenit St Petersburg and Borussia Dortmund will play their match the following week on Tuesday and that will be at 12 pm ET from Petrovski Stadium before the 2:45 pm ET match between Manchester United and Olympiakos from Olympiakos and Man U's match will be very important, as the club is out of their home championships and have those trophy to chase now. The next day Chelsea will be playing against Galatasaray at Türk Telekom Arena and that match will also be at 2:45 pm ET, while Real Madrid and Schalke 04 will match up at Veltins-Arena.
