The NFL playoffs standings has four teams left and the Sunday schedule has the AFC and NFC championship games with the Denver Broncos playing against the New England Patriots on CBS before the Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers on Fox from CenturyLink Field.

The championship games are matchups that many experts and people around the league predicted would go down and many feel that these are truly the best four teams in the league. The AFC game has the number one seed in the Broncos and the number two seed in the Patriots and in the NFC it's the equivalent of the top two seeds, with the Seahawks coming in with home field advantage as the number one, while the Niners are the five seed after winning 12 games and they were a wild card since Seattle won the division this season.

The Patriots and the Broncos are playing at 3 pm on CBS from Sports Authority Field at Mile High and that game will be all about the matchup at quarterback between the two future Hall of Fame players in Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. The two are facing off for the 15th time in their careers and the fourth in the playoffs and now both will be looking to get to the Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium and that game will be played in just over two weeks on February 2.

The Pats and Broncos have plenty of storylines in the game, as Tom Brady will be facing off against his former top receiver in Wes Welker, the qb is looking to get back to the Super Bowl after losing to the New York Giants two years ago, while Manning is looking to win his second career championship to solidify his legacy and quiet all the haters who criticize his playoff record and performances.

The Seahawks and the Niners are matched up in the NFC championship game and the matchup in Seattle will be tough for the San Francisco 49ers, as they have not won there over the past two seasons. The Seahawks are 16-1 in the past two seasons at home and the way the defense has been playing this season, Colin Kaepernick will need to be on their A-game. Marshawn Lynch had 140 rushing yards last week against the New Orleans and he will be key on Sunday.
