The BCS Championship game is finally here and the game is coming on Monday night from Pasadena with Florida State taking on Auburn and here are some predictions for the matchup, as the Tigers and Seminoles matchup with FSU the favorites in the game and the national title is the last matchup of the Bowl Championship Series and FSU took part in the first and last championship matchup, losing to Tennessee over a decade ago.

Florida State comes into the game favored and with good reason, as they were undefeated through 13 games in the ACC and while the SEC is much tougher, Auburn comes in 12-1 and ready to battle. Both teams can put up yards with the best of them and the Seminoles average over 500 total per game, while the Tigers gain over 300 yards per game this season behind Tre Mason and Nick Marshall. The line coming into the game has a 10 point spread for Florida State and the game may turn on the lower matchups apart from names like Jameis Winston, Nick Marshall and Tre Mason, as players like Kelvin Benjamin and Chris Davis may end up being the difference.

Predictions for the game have Winston picking apart the Auburn secondary with Benjamin outsizing the entire cornerback position for the Tigers, as he is 6-foot-5 and 234 pounds and will be the main target for Winston on Monday night. Mason comes into the game as the top option on offense for Auburn and he made it to NYC as a Heisman finalist after rushing for over 1,621 yards on the season and he had 22 touchdowns to go along with it and now he has the chance to breakout against the Seminoles.

Florida State is less than 30 points away from being the highest scoring team of all time and that came after huge wins against teams like Clemson, Wake Forest, Idaho and Syracuse and receivers Rashad Greene, Kelvin Benjamin, Kenny Shaw, and Nick O'Leary may be too much for the Tigers to handle. Auburn's rushing attack will dictate how the game plays out for the Tigers and if they can get Marshall and Mason going, it could be a long day for FSU.

Predictions:

Main game prediction: Auburn defeats Florida State 44-40

MVP: Tre Mason after he rushes for over 200 yards

Winston still has a great game

Marshall barely passes

Benjamin has a highlight reel catch
