The Florida State Seminoles now have the cloud of Jameis Winston's possible rape case gone from over their heads and they all can get back to football for the ACC championship game and while they are a heavy favorite over Duke, FSU will not underestimate the Blue Devils and the job David Cutcliffe has done and Jimbo Fisher's team will be ready when the Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship game goes down from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on ABC Starting and streaming at 8:00 pm.
Winston likely has the Heisman Trophy locked up and after the team went 12-0 on the season and 8-0 in the conference, they are ready for a national title game appearance as the number one team in the BCS and as of right now, they will be playing against the Ohio State Buckeyes if they can win the Big Ten championship game over Michigan State and that matchup is also on Saturday night and will be at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Seminoles have a surprising opponent in Duke and while they are heavy underdogs, the team has been doubted at every turn and they would love nothing more than to try and spoil the BCS and they will try and stop one of the highest powered offenses in the nation in FSU, as they are scoring over 50 points per game and that is one of the best in the country and their defense is ranked first with just 11 points allowed per contest and they haven't had much of a scare all season.

Winston has over 3,000 yards passing and more than 30 combined touchdowns and he has arguably been the best player in the nation this season and he directs and offense that averages over 500 yards per game and he comes into the night averaging 321 passing yards per game with the team and they are coming off of a huge win against Florida that saw the team hold the Gators to just seven points. Winston threw for over 300 yards in the matchup and the team has played against a tough opponent in a month since playing against Miami when they were in the top 10, but that was a major blowout and so were the other two times they played ranked opponents in Clemson as well as Maryland, with the game against the Tigers coming when they were ranked number three and that was not close by any stretch, with Winston leading the team to 50 points.
Duke comes into the game after a tight win over North Carolina in their rivalry game last week and that enabled the Blue Devils to clinch a 10-win season for the first eim and also put them into the ACC championship game. The team has been very consistent all year and since losing two in a row to Georgia Tech and then against Pittsburgh, the team has won eight games in a row and they are ranked in the top 60 in all major categories, including passing yards and rushing yards per game and scoring. The team is allowing 23 points per game and they will have their hands full with Jameis Winston fi the Tar Heels were troubls and Anthony Boone will have to make some major plays for Duke to even stay in it.
