The fantasy football playoffs are here for many owners and teams and with tons on the line heading into Week 14, some of the top pick up players and sleepers for the postseason includes names like Doug Baldwin, LeGarrette Blount, Jared Cook, Julian Edelman, Bobby Rainey and Brandon Myers.

The playoffs are a tough time for fantasy owners, as they have to find the best players that week and not necessarily the best players all season and mixing and matching starters for the final matchups can be the difference between winning and losing, which is why players like Doug Baldwin and Julian Edelman are smart for the stretch run. If Stevan Ridley continues to be limited in the Patriots' offense due to his fumbling issues, Blount is a very smart pickup and he could continue being productive down the line as the schedule finishes out. Rainey and Cook are also two solid options for teams in deeper leagues looking for value, as Rainey has stepped in as the starter for Tampa Bay with no issues since both Mike James and Doug Martin went down.

Baldwin is a solid option from the Seahawks as the season comes to a close, as Percy Harvin remains banged up since returning from his hip surgery and with Sidney Rice out for the season, Baldwin has become a legitimate 1a or 1b option with Golden Tate for quarterback Russell Wilson. This season he is one of the top receivers on the team in yards and he has 40 catches for 663 yards and four touchdowns and on Monday night he showed off some skills, as he had a 52-yard touchdown reception and now he has two scores in the past two games and three in the past four.

Another reason Baldwin is a solid pick up for owners is because of his consistency, which is something that is needed in the playoffs. Owners can afford players having so-so games, but not terrible ones and over the past four games Baldwin has over 60 receiving yards and three touchdowns and that type of production is good enough to trust going forward. On Monday Baldwin had four catches on five targets for 77 yards and last week he had 63 yards and a touchdown and before that he had a combined 18 targets in the previous two games with 11 receptions for over 140 yards. As long as Harvin is out, Baldwin is a prime option.

Blount has been a solid sleeper this season at various times based on the way the Patriots use their running backs and after Stevan Ridley was benched last week, Shane Vereen and Blount were the biggest beneficiaries. Blount is a big back with a nose for the end zone and after scoring on Sunday, he has two scores in the past four games and in four of the past five games he has over 40 yards rushing. Last week he had 44 yards on 12 carries and that was a team high in carries and that could bode well for him if Ridley continues to struggle.

Edelman was excellent on Sunday with nine catches for 101 yards and that came after a big game against the Broncos with nine catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Rainey comes in after rushing for 63 yards against a good Panthers team and that came two weeks after his 163 yard performance against the Falcons that saw him score two times and now he has three touchdowns in the past four weeks. All these players are solid for the playoffs.
