The Baltimore Ravens will attempt to once again become relevant in the AFC North as they are currently sitting in third place. The action will be available nationwide for all those who want to watch NFL after their Thanksgiving dinners. On the Ravens' schedule is a pivotal matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are also possess a 5-6 record and are sitting above them, in second place, in the AFC North.
The Ravens lost the first matchup against the Steelers and now they will seek revenge. A victory gets them playing .500 football once again and a chance to compete for the AFC Wild Card. Unfortunately, the Ravens will have to get things together. The good news is that they will play at home, where they are 4-1 in 2013. Their issues have come on the road where they have gone 1-5.
Their defense has kept them in the battle. They are allowing just 19.5 points per game, the fifth lowest in the NFL. They are stopping teams early, allowing just a total of 329 yards per game, good for 10th in the NFL. Joe Flacco is an overpaid, one-time wonder; apparently. He is averaging just 227 passing yards per game, which has the Ravens 19th in the league.
Can the Ravens pick up some momentum as the season comes to a close? They are coming off a victory against the New York Jets, where they allowed on three points, defeating them by the final score of 19-3. The Steelers are not the Jets and Roethlisberger will make the appropriate adjustments to defeat his division rivals. The Ravens are 2-4 in their last six games, going in the opposite directions of the Steelers.
