The team comes in tied for first place with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North division and this will be a huge game for the Lions after losing last week and the team comes in with the third ranked passing offense with over 300 yards and Calvin Johnson had a huge game last week with nearly 180 receiving yards. The Lions play against the Green Bay Packers next week and that makes this game even more important for Detroit to win and they could put themselves in a nice position to win the division and next week the game will also be at Ford Field and it's Thursday for the traditional Thanksgiving game and getting two wins would be a huge boost for the team and their playoff chances. The team has won two of the past three games and have a tough stretch to finish the season, including a Monday night football game that will also be at home at Ford Field.

After playing against the Steelers last week and the Buccaneers on Sunday, the team will play the Packers on Turkey day before heading on the road to play a tough game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Monday night football home game comes next against the Baltimore Ravens and then the team hosts the New York Giants and they could actually be in good position by then after winning four straight games and the team then finishes the season with a road matchup against the Minnesota Vikings and that game could have big implications for the Lions in the division.

Stafford is having another solid season with nearly 3,200 passing yards and he has 21 touchdowns already, while Reggie Bush has been very solid since coming over from the Miami Dolphins and he is ranked second on the team in receptions behind Calvin Johnson. Bush has over 650 yards on the ground this season and Johnson has been fantastic once again, putting up over 1,000 receiving yards already and he also has an impressive 11 touchdowns and he has continued to be one of the most dominant players in the league this year. The team is tied for the division lead with the Chicago Bears, but they have two wins over the team so that is a big advantage and the Packers also have a chance to get back into things when Aaron Rodgers returns, as they are 5-5. The Lions and Buccaneers will play on FOX at 1 PM on Sunday at Ford Field.
