Mexico's Oribe Peralta (R) celebrates a goal during their 2014 World Cup qualifying playoff first leg soccer match against New Zealand at Azteca stadium in Mexico City November 13, 2013. "

The World Cup is still months away but that doesn't mean there won't be some excitement on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, as Mexico will visit New Zealand in FIFA World Cup qualifying for the CONCACAF second leg qualifier and the match will be live on TV at 1:00 am ET and 7:00 PM local time and will be airing on ESPN and streaming on WatchESPN and ESPN3 from Westpac Stadium in Wellington.

The match comes after the Mexico team dominated in the first leg with a 5-1 victory and now they take that lead into the match on Wednesday morning and after getting a miracle save from the United States with two goals in their match to keep the team alive, Mexico will try and seal their spot in the World Cup in Brazil with a victory. The team comes in with a huge lead after putting up five goals in the first leg and that likely will propel them to victory and they only had to fly halfway around the world to do it. By most estimates, it would take a miracle for Mexico to lose this set after scoring five goals, but they got a miracle from the United States over Panama and after playing a great match at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, they will get the chance to finish things officially on the road down under in New Zealand and all the pressure is on the Kiwis for this match after the amazing performance last week.

El Tri continues on with its new head coach in Miguel Herrera and the match will be an important one for the team, as they cannot let themselves get complacent even with a large lead, as anything could happen once the starting gun goes off, as Mexico saw with the US playing against Panama. The match will be on TV on ESPN and streaming online from the WatchESPN website and it also will be on UniMas and Sky Sport 1 NZ and should be a very exciting matchup, as the Kiwis try and erase the deficit in any way that they can. The first leg was all Mexico and they scored early and often, putting in two goals before halftime from Paul Aguilar and Raul Jimenez to give the team a 2-0 lead and after that the team scored three goals from Oribe Peralta and Rafael Marquez before New Zealand was able to add a goal in the 84th minute and that could end up being a huge score when it's all said and done.

Mexico was on the verge of getting knocked out of the World Cup draw after a terrible performance in the group stage and after scoring just seven goals in the 10 qualifying games, the team busted out with five in the playoffs first leg and now, under their fourth coach during that span, the team is ready to advance to Brazil with a solid game in the second match. Herrera was brought in for these two matches and depending on how the second leg turns out, he could be around for a bit longer.

Mexico had a tough finish in their group behind teams like the United States, Costa Rica and Honduras in qualifying for CONCACAF teams and they were saved from elimination from their biggest rival in the US. The team ended up in fourth place after the Americans were able to score twice in extra time against Panama last month and that knocked them out of the playoff and put Mexico in and now the team has the chance to finish things off. The match will be live on ESPN starting up at 1 am and will be live from Westpac Stadium in Wellington and is the final chance for the NZ team to advance over Mexico.
