Novak Djokovic or Juan Martin del Potro can advance to the 2013 ATP World Tour semifinals with a victory tonight. Watch free online as the two will meet at the O2 Arena in London and close off Day 4's action. Live stream is available as the two meet at 3 p.m. ET.
Del Potro continues to be one of the most dominant and consistent players in Men's Singles. He roared back to defeat Richard Gasquet in the first game of the round robin on Monday. Del Potro took Gasquet to a tiebreaker, but it was the French who walked out victorious, forcing the Argentine to rally back in the match. Del Potro was up for the challenge, winning the last two sets and the match; 6-4, 7-5.
The following day, it was Djokovic closing out a day's worth of action at the O2 Arena. He battled against his former foe, Roger Federer. Federer took Djokovic to school in the second set, but it was Djoker who wound up with the victory that evening. The defending champion wrapped up the match with a strong third set, stamping his first win of the tournament and another win over former No. 1 Federer.
Now, Del Potro and Djokovic will hook up in what should be another hour or two of great tennis. The winner will take their second victory of the tournament, giving them a great chance of advancing to the semifinals round of the tournament.
Djokovic owns Del Potro, having won 10 of their 13 prior meetings, but that will not be a reason to count out the Argentine. When healthy, he could be just as deadly as Djokovic or Andy Murray. We cannot compare him to Rafael Nadal because the Spaniard is simply on another immortal playing field this season.
