It is a little hard to believe the Pelicans are undefeated. Yes, it's only preseason basketball, but that should mean that they are still worse than other teams in the league. The Heat will face a Pelicans team that has defeated the likes of the Houston Rockets, who are supposed to be the best team in the West, the Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards and even the Oklahoma City THunder. Granted, all the victories have been in single digits, except for their blowout of the Hawks, the Pelicans have been able to put on a show during the preseason.

However, we are talking about 20 minutes of LeBron James and more action from Dwyane Wade as the Heat are 4-2 this season. They are coming off an NBA Finals rematch with the San Antonio Spurs, which they won soundly, 121-96.

The Heat are fine tuning their squad, shooting 57 percent from the floor and 46 percent from three in this game. The Heat also took their game to the paint, outscoring the Spurs 38-24 from close distance. A rested Wade finished the game with 25 points after shooting 10-14 from the floor. James was on the bench, but James Jones, who went 6-8 from three finished with 18 points and Chris Bosh added 17 points.

The Heat's defense was active as the team finished with 16 steals in the game. The bench also added offense as Michael Beasley finished with 12 points and Norris Cole added 10.

People can say what they want about Wade and his aging, battered knees, but in the end, the Heat are a better team with him as the guard is also better than a lot of the players around the NBA. The Heat will look to put the finishing touches on their NBA Preseason as they get set to begin the journey as title defenders for the second straight year.
