NASCAR Live Stream: Watch Online Chase for the Sprint Cup ESPN Channel Talladega Superspeedway Race Sunday

The NASCAR season is continuing with the Chase for the Sprint Cup and this week the race will be broadcast on TV on ESPN and will be the Sprint Cup Series at Talladega pres. by 5-Hour Energy race at Talladega Superspeedway and the Alabama event will have Aric Almirola in the pole after rain washed out qualifying for Sunday.

The race has current standings leader Matt Kenseth as the previous winner of the race and behind him in the standings is Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick followed by Jeff Gordon, who has performed very well during the Chase. Kyle Busch rounds out the top five and he is followed by Greg Biffle, while Kurt Busch is next in line ahead of Clint Bowyer and Dale Earnhardt Jr, while Carl Edwards is 10th and Joey Logano comes in after him ahead of Ryan Newman. The race comes after Jeff Gordon won the pole last week at the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and now he will try for another solid performance.

Harvick won last week and Jimmie Johnson won the week before that and now Almirola will be in the pole position on Sunday after putting up the best speed in practice. NASCAR hoped qualifying could happen but the rain pushed it and now the Chase standings leaders will be packed in tight, as Matt Kenseth will be closest to the top alongside Jimmie Johnson. Rain was an issue last time at the track and now Almirola will have the advantage at the start of the race.

During the Nationwide race at Talladega, some excitement went down over the weekend and news also came out about injured driver Tony Stewart, who has been knocked out while dealing with a broken leg. According to ESPN.com, Stewart underwent multiple operations on his leg and now he is dealing with an infection as he tries to make a recovery from the injury. The next race on the schedule will be at Martinsville Speedway on ESPN and then the next race will be the Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway and then the next race will be at Phoenix before finishing at Homestead-Miami.
