The Baltimore Ravens have been trying to put together a deadly one-two punch when it comes to their wide receivers. So far, Torrey Smith has been the team's best option and behind him there have been a bunch of receivers auditioning for a stronger role in the offense. As Week 7 approaches, it appears Jacoby Jones has won the spot.

Jones returned to the Ravens lineup for the first time in Week 6 after getting injured after the season opener. He quickly reminded the team what exactly he can bring to the table after he blew past cornerback Sam Shields for an 11-yard touchdown and a 31-yard catch. While he was limited on offense in his first game back, head coach John Harbaugh does not plan on that being the case for much longer.

"It was great," Harbaugh said, via Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. "Jacoby gave us a speed element out there, and he'll probably play more and more offensively as we go forward."

Jones admitted he was nervous for his first game back since injuring his knee against the Denver Broncos. The Ravens were anxious for his return as well. As of now, Smith is getting bottled up by defenses, drawing most of the attention. With Jones back, both could be poised for bigger numbers for the remainder of the season. Dallas Clark continues to be a productive tight end, but Jones and Smith will give the Ravens some next-level options.

"Tandon Doss played well, Marlon played well, Dallas Clark had a bunch of catches," Harbaugh said. "That's what you try to do. You try to have enough guys in different spots where you can move the ball around and keep them honest. I believe our pass game is moving in that direction. We did a good job with the pocket compared to previous weeks."

Along with being a great speed catcher, Jones could see action as the primary return man for the Ravens, increasing his touches even more with the team. Jones has returned four kickoffs for 102 yards, including a long of 35 yards.

Jones put up seven fantasy points in Week 6 along with Tandon Doss. As Jones' role increases, Doss' role will likely start to decrease.
