Free agent quarterback Tim Tebow had quite the wild ride with the Denver Broncos when he was quarterback for the team, taking Denver to the playoffs and winning the division, but now that he is a free agent, had the Jaguars signed him or the Broncos traded him to Jacksonville originally, he would be facing his old team on Sunday in Week 6.

The Denver Broncos are hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6 and the betting spread for that game opened up with the biggest line in history. The Jaguars are 0-5 and the Broncos are 5-0 this season and the Jags are struggling very hard offensively, which has prompted fans to rally for the team to sign the quarterback. So far they have relented from doing that and TMZ even tracked down owner Shad Khan and asked him about it, saying that the team needs a lot of good players.

Tebow has completed less than 50 percent of his passes as a pro and while no one would say that the Broncos made a mistake in bringing in Payton Manning instead of Tebow, one wonders what would have happened if he was traded to the Jags rather than the Jets. Back when the deal was announced, reports said that the Jaguars were willing to pay $3 million of the salary advance for Tebow along with trading picks, but instead he went to the Jets and we all know how that turned out.

Tebow was released by the Jets and then signed by the New England Patriots, but after looking uneven in the preseason and in training camp, the team decided to part ways with the quarterback. Tebow is now a free agent and had the Jaguars signed him and had him on the roster for this game, he would be returning to the stadium where he had his greatest NFL triumph.

While quarterback for the Broncos, Tebow led the team to the playoffs after a terrible start, taking them on a number of fourth quarter comebacks and that led to a playoff home game against the Steelers. With the game in overtime, Tebow didn't waste any time, tossing a touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas that won the game. Now Tebow can watch the two teams on television, but one wonders what might have been had he ended up on the Jags this week.
