Frustrations are starting to mount with the San Francisco 49ers as the team is unexpectedly 1-2 to start the 2013 season. After facing increased expectations during the offseason, the slow start has several players questioning what is wrong. After an on-field spat headlined the team's loss to the Indianapolis, Frank Gore is left defusing feud rumors between he and head coach Jim Harbaugh.

"I like Coach Harbaugh a lot. Not issues. No, I'm cool with Harbaugh. That's not me. I just wanted to win, to get that nasty taste (of a previous loss) out of our mouth," Gore said, via San Mercury News.

Gore was clearly not thrilled with his lack of action last Sunday. He finished with 82 rushing years, but did not record a single carry in the second half of the loss. SFGAte.com's Kevin Lynch reported that Gore had "choice words" for Harbaugh on the sideline as the game came to a close.

Gore was officially placed on the injury list this week, but he insists all is fine for him to play in Thursday night's matchup against the St. Louis Rams. He is promising that all is fine both on the field and off the field. When speaking with the media, Gore said he was not upset with his lack of carries in the game, but simply frustrated with the loss.

Gore is not the only one frustrated with the lack of offense being featured in San Francisco. The team racked up 494 yards of total offense in the opening game against the Green Bay Packers, but since then they have suffered two losses having only recorded 10 total points and 461 yards in two games.

"We've just got to get back to us, and being one," Gore said. "We'll be fine. We geel we can do whatever we want, like before."

The 49ers attempted to switch to a pass-heavy offense in the second half against the Colts, using Gore on short-yardage situations and pass blocking. Things did not work out any better. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick put up a 48.1 completion percentage after going just 13 for 27 for 150 yards on Sunday. It is early in the year and the 49ers are perfectly capable of turning things around, it just needs to happen fast.
