The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers meet in Week 2's Sunday Night Football meeting. This matchup features an NFC West matchup to die for. The Seahawks and 49ers both had success in Week 1, though in very different fashion. The Seahawks were caught up in a defensive slugfest. They needed a late score late in the game in order to win this ball game. They were pushed to the brink of defeat by the Carolina Panthers. The final score was 12-7 in favor of the Seahawks and though it was a tough game, they still wound up with the victory.
The 49ers, on the other hand, took it to the Green Bay Packers in an offensive slugfest. The 49ers allowed 28 points, but they responded with 34 points of their own. They relied on some questionable officiating, but at the end of the day, they took home the victory.
The 49ers have the advantage on offense. With Colin Kaepernick, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis and Anquan Boldin on offense, the 49ers are loaded on offense. The Seahawks are talented, but they don't pack an offensive punch the way the 49ers do. On the other hand, their defense is spectacular. The 49ers allowed way too many points in Week 1, which should give the Seahawks hope in this matchup.
